Your Privacy Choices
This page describes the privacy rights available to users of SureSignal Technologies LLC, doing business as GameVault Studios ("GameVault", "we", "us", or "our"), under applicable U.S. state privacy laws, and how to exercise those rights. This page supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. Who This Applies To
These rights are available to residents of U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws, including but not limited to California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Virginia (VCDPA), Utah (UCPA), and similar laws in other states. We honor these rights for all users in the United States as a matter of practice, and for users elsewhere as required by applicable law.
2. Your Rights
2.1 Right to Know / Access
You have the right to request that we disclose to you the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which the information was collected, the purposes for collecting or sharing the information, and the categories of third parties with whom we share the information.
2.2 Right to Delete
You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (for example, when we need the information to complete a transaction you requested, detect security incidents, comply with a legal obligation, or for other purposes permitted by law).
2.3 Right to Correct
You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you, taking into account the nature of the information and the purposes of processing.
2.4 Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing for Targeted Advertising
We do not "sell" personal information for money. However, our use of certain advertising partners (such as Google AdMob) may be considered "sharing" or a "sale" of personal information for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising under some U.S. state laws.
You have the right to opt out of this sharing. To opt out, follow the instructions in Section 4 below. After opting out, you will continue to see ads in our apps, but those ads will not be personalized based on your activity in other apps or websites.
You can also opt out of personalized ads at the device level by enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" on iOS (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → toggle off "Allow Apps to Request to Track") or by denying the App Tracking Transparency prompt when our apps request tracking permission.
2.5 Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, precise geolocation, health data, or biometric data) in the ordinary course of providing our Services. If this changes, we will update this page accordingly.
2.6 Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We will not deny you Services, charge you different prices, or provide you with a different level or quality of Service because you exercised your privacy rights.
2.7 Right to Appeal
If we deny your request, you have the right to appeal that decision. Instructions for appealing will be included in our response to your initial request.
3. How to Submit a Request
To submit any of the requests described above, send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Choices Request".
3.1 What to Include
To help us process your request promptly, please include the following in your email:
- The type of request (Access, Delete, Correct, Opt Out of Sharing, or Appeal)
- The state in which you reside
- The email address associated with your GameVault account (if any)
- The name of the GameVault app(s) you have used (e.g., GameVault Word, GameVault Poker)
- Sufficient information for us to verify your identity (we may follow up to confirm)
- For correction requests, the specific information you believe is inaccurate and the correction you would like us to make
3.2 Verification
We will verify your identity before responding to your request. We may ask you to provide additional information to match against the personal information we have about you. We will not use information you provide for verification for any other purpose.
4. Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. The agent must provide proof of your written authorization, and we may ask you to verify your identity directly with us before processing the request.
5. Response Timeline
We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 days of receipt, as required by applicable law. If we need additional time (up to a total of 90 days), we will notify you of the extension and the reason.
6. Frequency and Cost
Most rights requests can be exercised free of charge twice in any 12-month period. If a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, we may charge a reasonable fee or refuse to act, as permitted by applicable law. We will explain any such determination in our response.
7. Information We Process
For details about the categories of personal information we collect, the purposes for which we use it, and the third parties with whom we share it, please refer to our Privacy Policy. Categories of personal information we typically process include:
- Identifiers — user account ID, device identifiers (e.g., advertising identifier)
- Contact Information — email address, display name (from sign-in providers)
- Usage Data — gameplay events, feature interactions, session data
- Advertising Data — ad impressions, clicks, attribution information
- Diagnostics — crash logs, performance data, technical diagnostics
8. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents or guardians who believe we have collected information from a child under 13 may contact us at [email protected] to request deletion. Refer to our Privacy Policy for further details.
9. Updates to This Page
We may update this page from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be communicated through our Services or by other means as required by law.
